I am a local Bellingham photographer handling many types of photography. While I love to shoot everything from weddings to events, I really thrive photographing sporting events. I don't know about you, but for me there is not much that can beat the smell of fresh cut grass on a cool crisp fall Friday evening standing on the 50 with a camera!

I have been making photos since I was 17 years old, getting started at North Kitsap High School with a photography class. After graduation, I continued my new found love and turned my creative expression in to a college education. I graduated from Western Washington University with a BA in Visual Communications: Graphic Arts and Photography in the spring of 1993. My final college project was an internship with the Bellingham Herald as a photographer.

I am pleased to continue developing photography and a photographers community with through out Northwestern Washington. If you have any photography or photo order questions, or to find out how to contribute your photographic passion to the WPANetwork please email me at

Thanks again for your time!

David :)

I am a Spokane native with nearly 13 years of professional experience photographing everything from weddings to high school seniors and of course sports. Since 2013, I have been a high school photography teacher and yearbook adviser at Mead High School, which is also where I graduated from in 2005. My passion for photography started with my yearbook adviser Carol Tadlock who pushed me outside my comfort zone and gave me a platform to share my photography. Starting in 2006 I created my photography business, which I still run to this day while teaching full time. Probably the most unusual thing about me is the fact that I love to photograph with my students on the sidelines at games and events. My teaching day really starts after the bell rings and my yearbook staff heads out to photograph. For that reason you can catch me at pretty much everything from Football to Marching Band Competitions. In 2018 my yearbook staff was awarded a National Scholastic Press Association Pacemaker award for the 2018 yearbook titled, 'From the Outside In.' I take pride in the work my students produce, as well as their dedication to our students and school when it comes to photography, reporting, and creating a timeless publication. In my spare time you can probably catch me traveling, skiing, paddle boarding or hiking in the mountains.
