Fall Sports Mandatory Family Meeting

Aug 15, 2019 9:49 AM

Please plan to attend a mandatory family meeting for fall sports on Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2019 at 6:30pm in the gym at Olympic Interim Site. It is expected that all athletes who are participating in a fall sport will attend with a significant adult. General athletic information will be presented by the Athletic Director and then teams will break into their own groups to receive information from the head coach. Each family will be given a team program overview document to review and sign.

The Highline Booster Club will be hosting an ice cream social in the cafeteria at 5:30pm. Please bring a favorite sundae topping to share. Come early to mix and mingle and meet your fellow Pirate athletes and family members.

The Washington State Interscholastic Athletic Association and Highline board policy require periodic academic grade checks for student-athletes. Athletes must maintain a 2.0 GPA and not more than two F's to remain eligible, unless individual teams have a higher expectation of its athletes to compete. Initial eligibility for a season will be based on previous official grading period grades.
